The procedure begins with cleansing of your skin and application of a numbing cream to make the procedure comfortable for you. After 30-45 minutes your doctor will start the tattoo removal procedure, where your tattoo is worked upon by Q-Switched Nd-YAG laser, customised according to colour of your tattoo and type of your skin. You may feel a bit of warmth and tingling sensation during the laser shots. This is followed by cooling of your skin by application of Ice.

Q-3: How will my skin appear post procedure?

Post procedure, you may experience a bit of redness and swelling on the treated area. Your doctor will prescribe a post care regime for you should follow to obtain maximum benefit of the treatment.

Number of sessions required will depend on quality, colour and depth of penetration of your tattoo ink along with your skin Type. Generally, 6-8 sessions are required for significant results. The sessions are spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
